Rapport bescherming namen en graden hoger onderwijs International Business School The Hague B.V.
De Inspectie van het Onderwijs houdt toezicht op het terecht gebruik van de namen universiteit en hogeschool en het terecht verlenen van graden in het hoger onderwijs. De inspectie heeft onderzoek gedaan bij International Business School The Hague B.V. naar naleving van artikel 1.23 en 15.7 van de Wet op het hoger onderwijs en wetenschappelijk onderzoek (WHW).
Op basis van dit onderzoek stelt de inspectie vast dat International Business School The Hague B.V. onterecht 18 graden heeft verleend. Voor verlening van deze graden bestond geen wettelijke grondslag. International Business School The Hague B.V. heeft daarmee artikel 15.7 van de WHW overtreden. Dit rapport wordt aangeboden aan de minister van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap, die kan beslissen om voor deze overtreding een bestuurlijke boete op te leggen.

The Inspectorate of Education supervises the correct use of the names university and university of applied sciences and the legal issuing of degrees in the Netherlands. The inspectorate has investigated compliance of International Business School The Hague B.V. with section 1.23 and section 15.7 of the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW).
We conclude that International Business School The Hague B.V. has illegally granted 18 degrees. There was no legal basis for granting these degrees. This means International Business School The Hague B.V. has violated article 15.7 of the WHW. This report will be presented to the Minister of Education, who may decide to impose a fine.
